

Following 12 years working in the Advertising & Marketing industry for a fashion house in London, I made the move to set up my own company as a Wedding & Event Planner. This was partly due to the fact that while planning my own wedding I understood and could appreciate the amount of time and work involved in arranging such a huge event. On average a wedding takes the equivalent of 6 full weeks to organise, which is a lengthy time and one that most couples do not have spare.
Unlike many other 'Wedding & Event Planners' this is my full time job and both myself and everyone at Emily Ioannou Weddings & Events are dedicated to our clients 24/7.
Most good planners will have good organisational skills, work well with clients and be able to negotiate with suppliers but it takes a great planner to add something extra to these qualities. What sets us apart from the rest is our passion and creativity to give you a truly outstanding day. Combined with our experience, we excel in getting the level of detail just right. And with our attention to detail we are constantly keeping up-to-date with the new trends in order to achieve this.
With our vast experience in planning weddings and events ranging from as little as 12 people to as large as 400 people, we are confident we can give you a wedding/event to suit not only your tastes and style but also keeping within your budget.
Based in Surrey, we are a small but dedicated team who have planned and coordinated many weddings/events, mainly in London and the South of England. Because of this we have extensive knowledge of suppliers, venues and companies within these areas that can provide you with everything you need.

Everyone at Emily Ioannou Weddings & Events have been trained by the Wedding Planner School and gained a Foundation Diploma in Professional Wedding and Event Planning.
